Introduction

This page outlines the privacy practices of PESO LLC (“PESO”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and disclose information gathered through the peso.io website and any related software, tools, or services we offer (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you consent to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure, and other uses of your information as described here.

What information does PESO collect?

Personal contact information. When you express interest in our services, request a quote, register for an account, or communicate with our team, we may ask you to provide your name, company name, address, phone number, and email address.

Billing information. When purchasing services, we collect billing details such as billing name and address, and payment card information. PESO does not store payment card data on its own servers. All payment transactions are handled by our secure third-party payment processor.

Service data. Through the use of our Services, you may provide or we may generate information related to your reputation management campaigns, review content, response templates, client communications, uploaded documents, and similar materials (“Service Data”). This information is stored and maintained on secure servers.

Identity verification. For certain engagements, we may request copies of government-issued identification or other verification documents. These are collected only when the nature of the service specifically requires it and are handled with heightened security protocols.

Diagnostic and login information. If you encounter technical issues while using the Services, we may, with your permission, collect crash reports and system logs to diagnose the problem. We also use cookies stored locally on your device to streamline the login process.

Analytics information. As you navigate peso.io, we automatically collect standard technical data through cookies and similar tools. This includes your browser type and language, Internet Protocol (IP) address, device and operating system information, pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, and the referring URL that brought you to our site. Third-party analytics providers, including Google, may use cookies to help us understand usage patterns. You may opt out of personalized advertising through your Google Ads settings or by visiting www.aboutads.info.

Geo-location. We do not currently collect real-time geo-location data. If this changes in the future, we will request your permission before doing so.

What does PESO do with the information it collects?

Personal contact information. We use this primarily to administer the Services, respond to your inquiries, manage your account, and send you service-related updates and announcements. With your consent or where permitted by law, we may also use it to send promotional communications.

Billing information. All payment-related transactions are processed through our secure third-party payment provider. PESO does not retain full payment card numbers on its servers.

Service data, diagnostic, and login information. We use this information solely for the purpose of delivering, administering, and improving the Services.

Analytics information. We may use analytics data in conjunction with services such as Google Analytics to monitor and analyze usage of the Services, support technical administration, increase functionality and usability, and verify that users have the proper authorization for the Services to process their requests.

Sharing and disclosure of information

PESO LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personally identifiable information to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers. We engage trusted third-party companies and individuals to help us operate and improve the Services, including but not limited to data hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics. These providers have access to your information strictly for the purposes of performing tasks on our behalf and are contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose or from sharing it with any other parties.

Legal obligations. We may disclose information that we, in good faith, believe is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process. We may also disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of PESO LLC, our users, or the public, and to cooperate in investigations of fraud or other illegal activity. Where legally permitted, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you before making such disclosures.

Corporate transactions. If PESO LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, dissolution, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. In such an event, you will be notified via email or prominent notice on peso.io of any change in ownership or material changes to the use of your personal information.

Affiliated entities. We may share your information with our parent company, subsidiaries, or affiliated entities for the purpose of coordinating services, enforcing our terms, and supporting internal business operations.

With your direction. The nature of our reputation management services may require us to use your personally identifiable information to locate content about you on publicly accessible websites and private databases. In certain cases, we may need to disclose your name or other identifying details to third-party platforms in order to initiate content removal on your behalf. This occurs only with your express permission for a specific, stated purpose.

Sale of personal information

PESO LLC does not sell your personal information. Under no circumstances will personal data be shared or sold to third parties for their own marketing or promotional use.
